When the Gay Flay of South Africa was recognised as a National Emblem, the activists involved embarked on a 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' road trip from Cape Town to Johannesburg conducting what they termed 'exhibitionist activism' along the way to fight for Gay rights and to receive the Gay Flag at Constitution Hill from Judge Edward Cameron. This is the story of this unique army of human rights activists.
