The otter trail is one of south africa's most beautiful trails and the most prestigious marathon distance trail race. More than that, it is the cement for a dedicated running community. in 2018 the race received international acclaim as it was finale for the salomon golden trail series. for 2019 the brief from the organisers was clear - this is the year of the south african's. tell their story.
This was a particularly challenging brief as I had to edit the final cut to be ready for the gala dinner 6hrs after the race ended. The documentation required running half the marathon with 10kgs of equipment.
