The most televised and gruelling mountain bike race in the world. I followed the race pack for 8 days as the cut across the breathtaking mountains surrounding Cape Town in the hope of being crowned the winner.
The pace and intensity of documenting mountain bike racing is incredible. navigating single tracks on the back of motorbikes, ensuring cameras don't get destroyed in the dust and rain, and holding a steady hand after heavy running or a bike pounding is an eternal struggle.
