Ryan sandes's 13 peaks challenge became an overnight success with local runners and hikers of all abilities. when someone announced an attempt to do it, support from the local cape town scene would flood out to provide drinks, snacks and high fives. if ever there was a symbol of community this was it.
although i had limited creative freedom on this project, the story highlights the strength of this community and the impact this challenge has had on the outdoor scene in cape town.
