Damien Schumann is a photographer/artist whose work is motivated by social issues and human justice. It’s focus lies not only in documentation, but also in the proactive and strategic use of exhibitions in advocacy, communications and social mobilization (ACSM) spheres.

Considered a visual anthropological study, his work has assisted in changing policy, educating communities, de-stigmatising social and health issues, and is recognized for its ability to penetrate the undisclosed depths of the human condition both in creation and presentation.
